Spirit of ‘76 Warehouse Update: Fire Successfully Extinguished, No Injuries Reported

Boonville, MO — May 28th, 2024 — Spirit of ‘76 Fireworks is pleased to provide an update regarding the fire that occurred at our warehouse in Boonville, Missouri on May 27th, 2024.

We are relieved to announce that the fire has been completely extinguished. It did not impact any of the surrounding buildings or businesses, and no injuries were reported.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Boonville, Cooper County and all of the other first responder crews from surrounding counties for their quick and effective response, ensuring the safety of everyone involved. Thanks to the efforts of the first responders and the safety protocols in place, everyone evacuated the building safely and the fire will have minimal impact on our operations.

The Spirit of ‘76 operations have resumed as of Tuesday, May 28th. We have updated our inventory and are still taking orders for shipping out.

When you’re ready to pick up your wholesale fireworks order, you must consider how many cases will fit in your vehicle.

Please be aware what weight your vehicle or trailer is rated for. Sometimes an order can fit but it will NOT be safe to drive.
