Spirit of ’76 Fireworks hosts a Spring Demo annually at our facilities in Columbia, Missouri.
Spring 2024 Fireworks Demo (In-Person)
Save the date for Saturday, April 27th, 2024 in Columbia, MO! We will present our 2024 Spring Demo and Display Choreography Showdown in the evening, and will offer a PGI Shooter’s Training course during the day.

April 27, 2024 Demo: Location, Schedule, What To Bring
LOCATION: Seating will open at 6:30pm at the Arena behind the Midway Antique Mall (directions). See map below – click to enlarge.
SCHEDULE: Seating opens at 6:30pm. The fireworks demo will begin around 8pm or after sundown and will last approximately 1 hour. Our annual Display Choreography Showdown between clubs KCAP and MoPyro will follow shortly after.
WHAT TO BRING: Please bring outdoor seating for your entire party and dress for the weather. Flashlights are a good idea, too. Cameras are permitted (no flash photography, please). There will be food and beverage trucks on-site. BYO food and beverage is allowed – please be courteous and dispose of or pack out trash.
2024 PGI Display Operator’s Course (DOC) – April 27th in Columbia, MO
This year, our Shooter’s Training course is being upgraded to an official PGI certification course! The course will take place near the Spirit of ’76 Fireworks facilities beginning at 8am on Saturday, April 27th. Attendees must register online by Friday, April 12th. 2023 Spring Fireworks Demo
Our 2023 Spring Fireworks Demo took place on Saturday, April 22nd in Columbia, MO and was a big success! Watch the demo recording below; click here for the shoot list and demo program.
We showcased many fantastic products and ended the night with our infamous Missouri Fireworks Club Choreography Showdown. We also offered a Shooter’s Training Course provided by J&M Displays, as well as tours of our Boonville warehouse and networking opportunities for fireworks retailers.
2023 SHOWDOWN – MOpyro and KCAP battled for glory, honor, and bragging rights in the 7th annual MO Fireworks Club Choreography Showdown that followed our demo. They each put on phenomenal displays! Watch the showdown below to see who won.

Fireworks Club Showdown
Following the demo, our Mid-MO Fireworks Club Showdown returned for the 6th time with local firework clubs KCAP and MoPyro. Congratulations to KCAP who won the 2022 Fireworks Championship title!
