Diwali Recognized As A Texas Fireworks Selling Season

If you haven’t yet heard the good news, the State of Texas has opened up a new fireworks retail season! According to the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), fireworks can now be sold in the state of Texas from November 7th-15th to celebrate the Hindu Holiday of Diwali.

Also known as the Festival of Lights, Diwali is India’s biggest holiday of the year. Diwali is celebrated by thousands in Texas, with San Antonio hosting one of the largest annual Diwali celebrations in America.

This is great news for Diwali observers and fireworks retailers alike as it creates an opportunity to legally purchase fireworks for Festival of Light celebrations!

Because the State of Texas strictly regulates that fireworks suppliers can only ship to personal use consumers during legal fireworks retail seasons, this news is also great for personal-use fireworks consumers as it gives suppliers like Spirit of ’76 another delivery window to ship products to fireworks users in Texas.
