Fireworks Shipping Information
Spirit of ’76 utilizes LTL freight shipping services for the majority of outbound orders. When checking out at shop.76fireworks.com, you may choose an LTL shipping option or choose to pickup your order at our warehouse in Boonville, Missouri. Please call us at 573-447-1776 or contact your sales rep directly if you have any questions (recommended for your first order).
Fireworks Shipping Restrictions
Spirit of ’76 will only ship items that are legally permitted at the shipping destination. Please be informed about your state firework law. You may refer to our safety and legal page to learn more about state firework law. Spirit of ’76 will not ship any type of firework to the states of California, Delaware, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or Washington DC.
Pro Use Only and Reselling Shipping Requirements: To expedite shipping, please ensure that we have your current Tax Exemption / State Tax ID / Retailers License / Shooters License and/or Pro Use Authorization Certificate on file. To submit either document, you can view or upload through “Documents” in your account, or submit them to your sales rep via email. For more information on Pro Use Authorization, click here.

To get a quote, simply log in to your account and add items to your shopping cart. Your shipping options and prices will be listed once you get to the Shipping step of the checkout process.
Spirit of ’76 carefully packs orders to insure that our customers receive their fireworks in original condition. Spirit of ’76 negotiates the lowest shipping costs with different freight companies that deliver throughout the United States. The U.S. Postal Service and the United Parcel Service (UPS) do not handle consumer fireworks.
Shipping Charges
Shipping costs are based on shipment weight. The more an order weighs, the higher the total freight charge will be (note that the cost per pound will go down for larger shipments). Please contact us and we’ll be happy to conduct a freight quote for you. Provide us with the approximate size of the order (ie. 2000 pounds) and the destination address.
Shipping Options
Customers of Spirit of ’76 can receive or pick up their order in four different ways:
- Delivery to a business address.
- Delivery to a residential address. Please note that there is an additional charge for this option.
- Terminal pickup. This involves delivery to a local trucking terminal where you can pick up your fireworks order.
- Pick-up at the Spirit of ‘76 Warehouse. This option avoids all shipping costs. Please call us ahead of time at 573-447-1776 to schedule a pickup appointment. Our fulfillment center is located at 1620 Mid-America Industrial Dr, Boonville, MO 65233 (get directions).
Delivery Time
Our eCommerce website will provide estimated transit times during the Shipping step of the online checkout process. Please note that transit times do NOT include the date of shipment, weekends or holidays. You can also call us at 573-447-1776 for an approximate delivery date.

Missing or Damaged Goods
Spirit of ’76 ships all orders in excellent condition. The fireworks are inspected and the boxes we use are designed to transport fireworks. Spirit of ’76 recommends that you inspect the firework boxes and ensure the correct number of cases arrived when you receive your order with the delivery driver present. If the exterior of the boxes are visibly damaged (water damage, rips, major dents, etc), Spirit of ’76 recommends that you open the boxes with the delivery driver present, and take photos. Take note on the bill of lading of any damaged or missing fireworks before signing the bill of lading. Please contact Spirit of ’76 immediately after your discovery of the damaged goods and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If you discover that the fireworks have been damaged after you receive your order, please call Spirit of ’76 and let us know the details.
